HCG 1/4 Akuma and Dr Doom

http://www.hollywood-collectibles.co...oom_akuma.html

The doom is nice, but the head is just way too small.

Don't know why these are being promoted as a 'VS' peice. They are not joined by a base, nor are they even remotely complimenting, so quite a big fail.

The biggest flop is that they are only selling these as a bundle, so if you only want one of them, well touch. Bad decision HCG

I'm not impressed with having to buy the pair would like a doom 1:4 as well. Bad times theyve missed a trick there. Hope the 1:3 wolverine isn't part of a pair

We are delighted to announce the first in our long awaited series of statues from the hugely popular video game Marvel vs Capcom 3!- Presented in awesome 1:4 scale the first protagonists to face off are Dr. Doom and Akuma.

Dr. Doom - the all-powerful ruler of Latveria, stands an imposing 21½" tall in his armor. He is captured here in classic pose with his cape billowing in the wind, looking with disdain at his opponent.

Akuma – the “Great Demon”, is a cold and extremely powerful warrior whose sole purpose of existence is to hone his fighting skills by battling and destroying strong opponents. He stands 19" tall in his fighting stance - ready to attack!

Both have similar MvC3 themed bases that will also allow you to choose your own match ups when displaying them together with future releases in our 1:4 scale MvC3 series.

These Museum quality pieces are constructed from heavyweight polystone and then hand painted to the finest detail. There is no HCG Exclusive version of this set. However if you prefer low serial numbers, we are reserving #1 to #100 for retail customers only. So the first 100 retail orders will receive the desirable low edition numbers!

* Statues not available individually, only sold as a pair.

That sucks that you can't order these seperate. I have no interest in Akuma but would love to have that Doom. That is a bad move if you ask me...
