If all the MvC statues were the same scale they would be tempting, but as it stands I have no interest at all.

That is the part of it that caught my eye as well. That lack of consistent scales may be the worst part of this release if both parings are indeed part of the same set from the same company.

Akuma & Ryu are my favorites...Why different scale?! don't like the look of akuma that much, but it's aight...We'll see if I take the plunge...

Sitting and thinking on it for a while these pieces are too big and expensive to be solicited in pairs. HCG should have let folks collect ala carte. There is a ton of folks out there that only want the Street Fighter or Marvel sides and it would be nice to buy direct rather than wait for a reseller to flip half a set.

Doom looks OK, that is about it. I would be intersted in the Doom, but, Ssc has yet to reveal the NEXT `1/4 scale doom!

Now, if Dormamu was done, in his CLASSIC alternate suit, I would be ALL OVER THAT!

I think it doesn't make any sense to make people buy both.
