This is a case of "be careful what you wish for". Too many Street Fighter licenses out there now. PCS, Tsume, Kinetiquettes, and HCG.

Not sure what to do about this Chun.
Buy it! At least that is what I am gonna do. On it's own this is a great looking piece and not a bad Edition Size too.

Looking at the competition PCS is probably at least 2 years out getting a Chunners in hand for a revisit in 1/4. Not saying I won't get that too since Jerry is pretty good at distancing himself from imitating the competition's pieces. The original is nice but is secondary market price and without a face repaint is far less satisfying.

Tsume and Kinetiquettes are different scale and really doing something totally different so they seem more in competition with each other and PCS's nearly cancelled dio.

I think this is a beautiful piece and they nailed the art so well. I even like that she is on her tippy toes.

Now if HCG would just release that Heavy Metal Medusa they teased so long ago!

I guess it comes down to how much I like Chun-Li. She's one of a dozen SF characters I like, but she's not at the top of that list. I don't care for the PCS Chun-Li, so would wait for a revisit from them.

I like the look of the unpainted sculpt. Painted or with color something is strange to me. Perhaps the shading compared to the artwork? She seems to lose the anime look in the painted images.

Like most statues that are not Bowen's I think she needs shading but other than that I think this is very A+.

Anyone seen this in person? I like it.

Never been a fan of the MvC3 HCG line (at least, the Street Fighter side of it). I never really liked the in-game artwork......but I like what they did with Chun-Li in this particular piece of artwork.

This statue looks like a nice adaption of that artwork. She has a femininity that is often missing (although she looks a little dead behind the eyes in the close up).

I'd love to see a production piece.

The face kills it for me. She looks soulless; expressionless; disinterested.

I'm exaggerating somewhat. It is very nice overall. I think I'm also just trying to convince myself to stick with PCS and Kinetiquettes for my Street Fighter fix.

It's paints.

HCG don't do good paints really.

Yes I believe Alterton is quite a wonderful sculptor that matches concept art well.

Yeah, that's why I want to see a production sample. But overall I like it.

I don't have enough females in my collection anymore.

PCS and Kinnetiquettes are doing a fine job on the male characters.

This is a more feminine Chun Li. I'm going to give this serious consideration. It wouldn't be a line for me because I'm not a fan of the other MvC3 Street Fighter statues. It would be a one off.
