Woohah; it's the day after the night before and I am still on fire after the big announcement from Sideshow with regards to the upcoming Juggernaut Maquette...
As the famous wrestling tag team Legion of Doom used to say in the WWF: What a rush!

As a tribute to The Juggernaut but also as a big THUMBS UP! to the creative team at Sideshow, I would like to post my poem for The Juggernaut which I wrote many moons ago.
I will be the first one to admit that I am not much of a poet but hopefully it will still express how much I like the big man.

A Tribute To The Juggernaut

Thunder and lightning
The breaking of glass
An earthquake of violence
A hurricane which lasts

A volcano of danger
A tornado of strength
The unstoppable force of nature
Wreaking havoc close at hand

There is nowhere to run
There is nowhere to hide
Your fate is sealed
Your doom has come

The sound of your fear
Is like a drum beaten hard
Now that you are certain
... The Juggernaut is near!

You must be the most happy Juggernaut collector on the planet. I doubted another Juggernaut would ever surface.

I like the way you think!
I have always imagined that it would be awesome if Sideshow would include the Crimson Ruby of Cyttorak as an Exclusive if they would ever realease a comic book Juggernaut statue.
I think it would look great since it symbolizes the source of Juggernaut's strength as well as the fact that Cain Marko's life was changed forever the moment he touched that fabled Ruby.
Without Cyttorak there would have been no Ruby in that deserted cave in Korea and without Ruby there would have been no Juggernaut.

I have also read some comments hinting that the EX could for example be the smahed wheelchair of Charles Xavier.
This would be cool as well since it would refer to the troubled relationship which Cain has had with Charles for most of his life.
That is one of the most interesting things of Juggernaut: his personal relationship with Charles.
Juggernaut was not just a foe, he was not just a villain, no, he was an unstoppable one man army who also happened to be Charles' stepbrother.
Charles and Cain are family and it's fascinating to realize that in one and the same family you could find both the founder of the X-Men as well as one of their strongest and most fearsome foes.
It's even more fascinating if you realize that fearsome foe later became a hero and one of the X-Men himself.

I am looking forward to the full reveal of this maquette and am also curious to see which EX Sideshow has chosen.
Even more so now that Mr Igo has confirmed that the EX kicks a$$ in every conceivable way from here to next Sunday.

The only thing I am worried about is that the EX might be sold out before I can send in my order.
Due to the time difference here in Europe with the US and the fact that I work all day, I hope I will not be too late at the party when pre-order day arrives.

I am not the kind of guy who always needs to have the EX version of a statue but for The Juggernaut I gladly make an exception.
So missing the EX is not an option but if that happens nevertheless, I will probably start my own little unstoppable rampage to release my disappointment and frustration...

I remember Igo or another Sideshow rep on here a few years ago saying that they did make a comic Juggernaut but they decided not to release it because it wasn't big enough so they scrapped it.
So this is probably their 2nd attempt at doing him, and so far it look's like they nailed it.
