Same reason I passed too. I'm a huge X-Men fan but the pose doesn't do anything for me.
It might be better in person, a lot of times these images and videos are deceiving ... But really couldn't justify the cost of this one with the way the legs are positioned.
I think the portraits are incredible though, extremely well done.

I kinda wanted him for an X villain, but seems you have to pose him in a certain viewing direction to get the most out of him, which is the biggest flaw. But i see why so many passed, Just unsure when and if sideshow will ever do him.

Just to get a licensed 1/4 OR was good enough. It’s going to look great as a complimentary piece in X-men collections. I could see the concern more if this was the primary piece then the pose would be more of a focus but Omega Red being a secondary character at best I doubt many who picked this up will be the only X-men in their collection.  So yeah could be a while before another OR comes along. In the meanwhile, this will be a nice placeholder.

I'm honestly not sure SS could do better...pose probably, but overall detail/quality is a question. That upper half on this guy is as close to perfect as you can get imo...and when you have him like that first picture up top...damn...hard to picture SS beating that. ...now here's hoping he doesn't lean.

Anyone have this on preorder and have no shipping notice yet? Are they shipping them in a few batches? I'm from Singapore and I pre-ordered mine from a reseller, no news from him yet although I see so many collectors overseas getting theirs.

Mine is arriving next Tuesday. The package did not move for over a week though, so maybe there were some delays on the XM side with releasing the package to carriers. They have a lot of items being shipped out.
