Alternate Universe, the only model club for all things SciFi, Fantasy and Horror will be holding it's November meeting at the Olive Recreation Center, 1111 West Olive Ave. Burbank, CA. See map at bottom of page. The meeting will be held in Meeting Room 4 on Saturday, Novemberr 19, 2011 The time is from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Best parking is behind the Recreation Center off Clark Street, so come early.
Be sure to check out Alternate Universe's page on Facebook. Just type in Alternate Universe in the Facebook search box and you are there. Leave a comment or two. Photos taken at the Antelope Valley show are now on there. The club members did quite well in the awards department.
There is no demo this month, so it would be nice to see everyone bring something to work on. One of the many things that sets Alternate Universe apart from other clubs is that we encourage our members to work on their projects at the meeting.
Admission is free and the meetings fun. Alternate Universe has no membership dues, We only accept donations to help cover room and refreshment costs. Our goal is to promote the hobby of SciFi, Fantasy and Horror modeling.
Bring your a finished project. Bring a friend, join the fun with our group builds. Some of our members have said this gives them the time to work on their projects they can do otherwise.
