I've been curious how this is working out. Has anyone gotten their pieces from Herb? Would love to see what his current stuff looks like before committing to a piece.

I love mine.

I can scan it for you tomorrow; at my office, and I'm still looking for a new scanner.

Herb didn't disappoint.

It's Herb Trimpe; he's from the "old guard" of Marvel artists.. f#ck the Jim Lees, David Finches, Fred Hembecks, etc. who've been doing this for 20 years.. he's been doing it for far longer. Get on that!!

Wow. I JUST realized that I didn't post the two pieces that I got from Herb. I already have them in my possession and am thoroughly pleased with the results.
Captain America

Wolverine (this one is a gift and the pose was requested specifically)

I totally forgot about this, when I read the email I was under the impression that I had to wait to hear from Jeff before I was to send money... so now I am scratching my head wondering if I missed something.

I know he's contacting people in groups of three. I was just contacted last week.

Hulk vs Wolverine

I did pick up my piece from Jeff @ NYCC and had time to speak with Herb at the show. Mine was one of the first done according to Herb, he was great to talk to and would like to get another if there is a second round. Had to go witht he classic Hulk vs Wolverine set up.
Thanks to UD7 for setting this up !!!!

My understanding is Jeff is contacting people in small groups so that there is no issues with long delays once money is sent. I am happy to see the pieces being posted as I knew some were complete but had not seen any. Glad that this is working out so far.

In terms of order, I know that people who requested NYCC pick up where moved to the front and I requested I be put at the end.
