I totally agree! She looks awesome, so far! I am however a bit mystified by this ....

... which was your reaction to the recent Artgerm Designer Series Supergirl with a peg in her thigh?? Is it just the peg placement in the thigh versus the foot? No ball-breaking intended, just curious as to the rationale.

It comes down to the placement. The Artgerm piece at certain angles looks like the rod is shoved up her skirt and into her backside. At least at the bottom of the foot it is not messing up the lines of the sculpt. Plus this rod is a small one. On the artgerm it’s half the height of the statue. If they had placed the rod into the feet of that one I probably would have bought it.

Fair enough. Thanks. I guess it just didn't faze me as much and I just wondered.

LOL, I am a bit picky sometimes. Kind of glad I skipped the Artgerm one. I like the Cho one a ton better anyway.

I decided against getting any statues held aloft with pegs since "cold cast porcelain"/resin does get soft with exposure to moisture and heat. Even a tiny bit of lean can result in cracking and eventual breakage.

It appears that Jonathan Matthews might be the new sculptor on this line (or at least for the Frank Cho wave after the popularity of his DS Rebirth Wonder Woman, also based on Cho's artwork).

I fear the day of discovering Supergirl statue dominos.
