Shoulder pads form a really cool omega symbol in the back. The plain sleeveless tunic would be a smidge boring when placed next to the other costumes that have been tweaked.

With so many characters and different companies putting out statues, it is a challenge coming up with poses for male characters that speak to power and look commanding and great on a shelf. Since these mostly are to somewhat work with other characters from that world it's tough to do a static pose with one and then an action pose with the other.

I'm late to the party, but this Darkseid looks great. I agree that a COH with a calm portrait would be killer . . . but you know what would be even better? A calm portrait with Darkseid's signature smirk! My ideal version of him would be with hands behind his back and a calm, knowing smirk on his face.

I get what you mean but I am okay with it being the same or kinda similar pose as what other companies are doing but to have the same pose of 3 characters in the same line? a little too much for me. But congrats to those who would get it..still looks good

I think of all of the New God characters had bases that were mother boxes that would look pretty cool
