Good idea with the drill, thanks for all of the help with this everyone. I’m going to gather up the courage to try and get that magnet out soon.

Another idea I had is maybe some putty would hold the head in place and not be permanent like super glue. The only worry is if it ever came loose the head could fall and damage some other part of the statue.

Translucent resin / candy resin tends to be more brittle than other opaque resins used in statues. If you are going to drill, I suggest using a pin vise to drill it by hand. By the photo, it looks like the magnet was dropped in the mold before the poured the resin, so it may not be glued down.

Anyone order direct from P1? I’m curious about shipping cost to the U.S. and box dimensions.

Low stock with discount for their Golden Week Sale is a good deal. If you go through the order process it will tell you the shipping cost. Box should be on Sideshow website. I think this is the highlight piece for the sale. If they make another Alita movie this piece could be in demand in the aftermarket.

Box Size
Height: 18.50" (469.9 mm) | Width: 23.00" (584.2 mm) | Depth: 34.00" (863.6 mm) | *

Just now the big gun fell off while dusting Alita. Simply that way. I managed to catch the part just before it hit the floor.
I have now scratched the paint off the magnets on the arm and on the gun. It seems to hold up better now.

That's why I never display my statues outside of an enclosure. The dusting would be too stressful.

15% off the Alita DX ($1000 down to $850) during Golden Week on Prime 1. If you were fence sitting may be a good time to buy.
