Statues You Wish Sideshow Would Make (But They Never Will)
There are so many statues that I would LOVE to see get made, but never will. The only one on this list with a chance is Nightwing (I feel like it's only a matter of time). However, for whatever reason, he NEVER seems to get any 1/4 scale love.
NIGHTWING:
Batman has several statues and even Batgirl has two 1/4 scale statues. We're getting a slew of Batman villains. Why hasn't any company managed to put out a 1/4 Nightwing? I see the Batman Beyond statue and I just can't imagine why they haven't tasked Daniel Bel with the sculpt. Nightwing is the only DC 1/4 scale figure I can even imagine buying at this point except for...
GREEN LANTERN (GUY GARDNER):
I love Guy. He's my favorite--maybe even more so than Hal. I'd like a statue of him done like Ethan Van Sciver drew him.
MARVEL'S ARES:
He's officially one of my favorite character designs. He's not wildly popular, but he's a lot of fun. He gets treated like crap in the comics, but he has a fun personality and they could make a stunning statue (imagine him on a bloody battlefield with a sword and ax).
JIM LEE 90's STYLE HAVOK:
I love Cyclops (he's my favorite comic book character, full stop). I have the XM Cable and the OG Cyclops statues. I have XM Cyke on preorder and will preorder the Sideshow Cyke (I also preordered the Cable PF from Sideshow). The Summers family would feel more complete with a Havok. However, I don't care about the black outfit. It does nothing for me.
BANSHEE:
I know they've had customs and Bowen statues, but I would love a PF Banshee. He was one of my favorite characters and they could do so much with his cape and old green/yellow outfit.
BULLSEYE:
They made an old statue of him, but they need a new one to go with my Daredevil and Punisher. I LOVE the Bel Daredevil. It's simple and elegant.
TYGRA:
Yeah, I love the Thundercats--but Tygra was always my favorite. I have a feeling if we get another, we might get Panthro--but I just want Tygra.
There are a few characters that I'd like besides these--but they'll likely be made at some point (Archangel and Nightcrawler).
