The old portrait has a realistic vibe to it which I like alot.

I liked the original portrait as well because it looked realistic

So long as the eye makeup on the new portrait doesn’t look too thick and or offensive, the new portrait is Jim Lee and that’s what I’m hoping for this entire line.

But I think she had some plastic surgery

Make up also gives the illusion of a 45 degree angle



Eyeliner is way too thick on the pics posted on the website



If it’s toned down as seen during the unboxing, the portrait looks good

Like I always say, Her eyes are way too arched. That's my problem with the first psylocke PF and now with the updated portraits. The only character I knew who have those type of eyes is Mulan.

Lucy Liu has arched eyes, and the eyes of Chaeyoung are also slightly arched.
Also, she indeed looks like Jim Lee,s Psylocke, and since Jim Lee is asian american, i would not doubt the way he draws them.
I just decided to pre order her as an upgrade to my psylocke comiquette.

Yup I loved the first portrait. To not even include it was a mistake IMO. It should have been the EX so everyone would be happy.

Hey man, it is a free board. There is no right or wrong and as long as you aren't telling me that I'm "desperate to love this piece" criticize all you want (although if I hated a piece this much I'd just stay away from it.)

Same goes for the supporters of this piece that thinks everyone should apologize for doubting this piece.

I thought the production pics was awful looking. Weird paint just ruined everything. Now with the unboxing video I like it so much more than the first PF and even the first European portrait. I can see the point regarding the slanted eyes but I'm not too concerned with 100% anatomically correct portraits in the first place (they are comic statues after all).

Will probably wait for it to go on sale or something though. EX is not a must and my priority is my Batman Rogues line!
