That seems fair enough, although I personally love seeing photos of stuff early on and throughout production.

Unfortunately too many people take what is said during production as gospel and don't consider that time frames, materials, and even cost(price) can and often do change by the time the piece goes up for preorder. I am not pointing fingers at Python but just stating what generally happens on most forums these days. It kind of ruins if for the rest of us who enjoy getting an inside look at the production process.

Seeing as you mentioned me, just to be clear what we are on about, we are referring to the Rodger Young thread in which a $250 price was mentioned, and then went up to $650 or whatever it is. So this is an extreme example, nothing was taken as gospel, it was just a shock after getting pretty excited for it. It would be a $1000 + kit for me now, nor have I critisized at all. But in general I agree and am one of the more understanding folks on here.... And reasons were given which is fair enough, just means I won't be getting one after all.

Easy Python. I said I wasn't singling you out but just stating in general terms and I do understand you were referring to the Roger Young. I am just bummed that it sounds like Paul won't be sharing anymore production updates with us on Chronicle pieces anymore.

Wow! It looks awesome! The scale is a good size too.

Is a preorder date on the radar yet?
