the bust will be easier to find on the aftermarket because there are only ~20 units of the maquette in all of N. America. I always prefer a full maquette over a bust of a character.

It depends on the collection. Maquettes are much smaller. They have less presence in many cases. A life size bust makes one feel that the actual character is present. it's almost like having a lifesize statue. It carries the "essence" of the character if done properly. It does take a lot of space though.

anyone notice the zoanoid has damaged control metal on the forehead? Light it up and it becomes more evident.
