Not sure about the smiling head. I think I can get used to it with better pics. Beautiful statue! Definite buy here. The reg head is the one to go with for my display. Hope p1 will tweak the ex head to perfection. Wished they went with a long hair down version for the ex head instead of smiling.

If people have a preference on heads I think it is good that seems like the base one is popular so not a mad dash for the EX.

Seems like the eyes/eyebrows need more movement to further enhance the smiling portrait. Hard to tell from the nose up which one is smiling (its the right one)

I think part of the challenge in making changes is you lack the source material to base details off of. You're right that in expressions changing one element without compensating others can create some inconsistencies. I still like it, but I see your point.

I looked on the Prime1 site and it's there for order, but I would love to get through Sideshow for the points. Do they normally start on their site and then offer to Sideshow? They are only making 750 of these.
How does the shipping work if you order direct? Are there import or customs fees coming from Japan?
