They don't, but they have internal metrics. They know how many of their subscribers actually click on something. They know how many people actually watch something from beginning to end. They know how many people actually watch every episode of a TV show (as opposed to people who watch the first and last episodes of a season).
Also, Netflix wanted shorter seasons so that each script would have less flab, but Disney wanted more episodes so that they could charge Netflix more licensing fees.
