the bust is mainly painted with some parts chromed. I was wondering if the process on the version 2 was the same or plated.

I have the V2 two guns, purchased in 2013 though. Haven't seen it in a loong time but from what I remember I'd say the finish on the v2 is a mix of clean and "combat" versions, somewhere in between. Not painted though, pretty sure it's chromed like the first versions. BTW, sucks about the leaning, don't know if mine will do it, still boxed up. Love the pose on the V2bada55, more than the original I think.

I seem to remember V2s being chrome then a painted weathering/battle damage layer, probably to cover any chrome issues. I wanted a "clean" endo and remember some trying to remove the weathering layer, but I did not keep up with them once the leaning issues came about. It was over on the freaks board and of course that was years ago. You will probably have to ask SS for current info.
