it's kind of comparing apples to oranges, TH is purely comic book sculpting... Where as XM looks like they could be movie statues with their more realistic take of the characters...

TH might be 40% cheaper but XM gives you a lot of stuff for that extra 40%, more switch outs and bigger bases, not to mention they're a lot more detailed...

but like I said they're on opposite sides of the spectrum... just depends what floats your boat more, comic book style or a more realistic style...

True. That's why I have started with IMO.

NEW TEASER

Here is the first painted tease of the new line. We just finished the paint masters and Chad gave me permission to post these. I can't answer anymore ?s But I can tell you we have 2 other statues in approvals at the WB. This line will be EPIC!

The muddy variant would look so good paired with a mutant leader statue to make the big fight scene.

Is this the licensing route Chad is moving, but at a 1/6 scale? Could be really interesting if done well. Not sure of the market for this, but have no data to judge beyond the fact the DC B&W line has been going for years, at a lower orice point for each piece...

Curious to find out exactly what this line is...
Problem is that DC has made the 1/6-scale Designer Series line Batman-centric. There is way too much Batman product, just like there's too much Harley Quinn.

I don't buy 1:3 scale statues nor do I buy DC Collectibles stuff either... Right now all I have Batman wise is the original SS PF converted to full sculpt and SS 89 1:4 Batman which I'm probably going to sell before the pleather cape starts coming apart.

So I'm cool with XM and TH doing some Batman 1:6 stuff..

Gotham by Gaslight teaser reveal on Rogue's Gallery chat (youtube).

Really happy if/when this happens so I don't have to go for the (expensive) Prime 1 1/5 version.
