I think the biggest problem is how their lines are all over the place. We have great lines, with a clear design perspective, like X-Men, Thundercats and the Turtles, while others are totally irregular and a mess, like the whole DC and Star Wars line. They have cool pieces in each of these lines, but pieces lack a clear consistency regarding their designs.
Maybe IS got way too big for their own good. Way too many licenses, a restaurant, CCXP, comic books, an original IP, even a video game incoming.
I think we will see if they will become a huge global pop culture company, or if they took more projects than they are able to do.
