haha, having listened to my fair share of the fine folks that play CoD only for the multiplayer I will gladly take my minority status and wear it proudly

Mute button is your friend. Or...try some bots. There's also the co-op stuff. CoD's not just a campaign or multiplayer thing these days. Some other fun options available. Or maybe wait a little bit for the price to drop? Full price is tough for a campaign that can be finished in such a short time.

I'm with Yac too. I can't stand CoD's twitch based multi-player shooting so I too prefer the campaign.
Now, granted I've only played/purchased CoD2, CoDMW, CoDMW2, CoDBO this gen but they all had enjoyable stories for what they set out to accomplish
Its also why i usually wait until i can snag the games for $20 as I don't mind the 5-7 hour campaign for that price

Is there Co-Op again? That was one of the best parts of the other games. My friend Phil and I spent hours getting three stars on all of those missions.

Just getting into the campaign game, it always takes me a while to adjust to a new game before I can comment on it. Good so far, but the real reason for getting Call of Duty is the multiplayer game!
I'm glad the campaign is short, the hard core fans just want to go on to online soon as possible!: )

the hardcore fans usually don't even touch the campaign, and while I realize the draw for most folks is the multiplayer I just can't understand the guys that ever actually play through the story
