This really is comical and will be part of a discount sale after release.

If these company’s really want to go black and edgy they should release a proper Fallen. Not ROTF Fallen, but the actual herald of Unicron Fallen.

well i dont know about that, i think the only reason this exists is because it requires very little effort. same sculpt, same pose, same base - its literally just a color variant. a bumblebee shockwave would have been awesome though

Got my shipping invoice from Todd. Not sure if this will ship directly from Japan or CA but shipping to Connecticut was $140.

Hey gang, just got him in today. Shipped in 1 box, comes in 30 pieces that are very simple to assemble and is a knock out if you're looking for a G1 inspired museum piece to add to your collection. The blue and red paint is top notch, it pops and my pictures don't do it justice. One simple light up feature and a switch out arm. I chose to go with the regular because the Decepticon scrap was silly. There was a spot in the clamshell for the Asia only Ironhide bust/piece.

Just some thoughts. There's a few things I'm happy P1 decided to do with this piece and hope going forward they continue down this path. Less is more. This is a such a simple piece. It says what it has to and gets the job done without going big. The paint is simple but in a cherry red & glossy blue way, you walk into the room and your eye's will immediately go to the piece. "XM Captain America comes to mind." They could have put lights all over the place like their Bayformers but they didn't and it's a happier piece for it. The base is a lot hollower than other P1 bases which makes it very light. I can pick the whole piece up and move it with no problems. "The weight is around F4F's Bowser." The base is also half the size of a Bayformer's base, so if you're hurting for width but have some vertical space, this piece works great for that kind of setup. Keep in mind P1 Soundwave's base is wider than Optimus due to Ravage.

I also want to address the head concern. There is a magnet in the neck hole and at the end of the head. The head does spin loosely left and right only up to the silver between both shoulders. However there is a polarization you can feel when you remove the head from the body. It's not going anywhere. As for the spin I stomped around the piece like Shrek and the head would not move, so I hope that info helps if you're on the fence.

Hi - is the chest window transparent or not? I think it was the case for prototype but not sure about the final product.

The windows are still transparent just tinted. Here are some pictures. The first is my flashlight behind the glass and the second is what's behind the chest.

Thanks Sonic. Got him from Spec Fiction. Shipping was $140 UPS ground from CA to CT in case you're interested. Now that I've had him for a week he's definitely nudging XM Optimus out of his spot. Definitely a looker. If you're on the fence and have any questions by all means ask. After seeing this in person Soundwave is going to be x100 and yes they should do BB Shockwave

That's great! I've the small one from 3A but the solid window is a little disappointment. Looking forward to my Prime 1 version too!
