Its all about being patience. A lots of my statues are a few years old, so its cheaper than retail. i have never paid over retail for any of my statues, but that doesn't mean i missed out on some too. It all comes down to how much you want the statue. Statues will always comes around in the future, cause there's always new ones that comes out, and older ones becomes less desirable and comes down in value. In the end, these are just statues and if the opportunity comes up at a good price, i will get it. If not, then i can wait and enjoy it in other peoples collection.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Yup, great example is Doom on Throne. This ?so called grail? has finally started to loosen its grip on outlandish prices.

Thanos is dipping in price. Collectors just trying to move pieces with so many other art pieces on the market and sculptors getting so much better. I’ve seen the ex for 15-1800 lately.

I just got mine delivered last week. I paid 1200 + tax and shipping which came out to a little above 15. Its the CE, but after looking for so long to try to find a reasonable price, CE is fine for me.

Still a very solid piece but I agree that it is starting to lose a little steam on the market...

I think there's a 3-5 years window after the statue comes out that prices get to a discounted price. All my statues are $2-300 below retail, and that includes shipping. I have never paid over retail, cause I'm just patience, and that's the hardest part, being patience.

There are times when patience is the better strategy. But there are times when it doesn't ...when waiting just doesn't work out.
There's always a good and bad to everything.
