Because SS statues are light by comparison to XM. Voltron is actually on the heavier side for SS statues if I am not mistaken. Hulkbuster will probably be almost 80 - 100 lbs. It will definitely be the biggest box from XM. I don't think the XM Optimus Prime will be big like Hulkbuster.

It cost that much for Namor the box was enormous. It was delivered in my suburb via transport truck . It weighed 125lbs was shipped from Singapore . My hook up said it was cheapest rate he could find. I will never reship Namor again it's just too big. Hulkbuster fans you're in for rude awaking if you think shipping will be reasonable.

And it would have been free shipping if it was your neighbour who made it in his backyard and just walked it next door to you.

SSC has bulk shipping deals that allow them to ship HUGE statues cheaply and at massive details. Anyone in North America who get an XM statue, other than their global licenses, is getting it through a middle person who is paying the full cost of the freight.... no discount.

It was an XM exclusive PO at events only. Now the only way to secure one is via a "contact", someone who has access to some POs and acts as as intermediary between you and XM effectively.

Most POs would now be in the hands of final collectors by now but you never know.

The other option is any final collectors that want to give up their PO (doubt that!) or, most unfortunately, flippers.
