Yup...same here. My last flex is in Sept, but I may pay early. I just hope this bust doesn't have the paint crack issue the OG Mark III had.

Started noticing more cracks in my OG bust, which is now 11 years old. The first cracks started appearing 9 years after I purchased it from Sideshow. May consider a repaint in the near future.

I do find eBay prices on the OG hilarious considering the new owner would most likely have have to drop some cash on getting it repainted.

Not going to discuss the price on secondary but that type of thinking is pretty flawed. Say for a used car YOU want a new paint job, a redone engine and all new interior. With your thinking the owner should take a loss so you can get those things done because YOU want to incur those costs. A pretty ridiculous ask if you ask me especially for something that is no longer being made no matter how old it is. Supply and demand.

Flawed?

We're talking about a piece of plastic here not a '67 Impala. There's also a potentially superior alternative at the same price point.

If I were to list my OG bust at the same price point, I'm guaranteed that I would get low-ball offers, even if I paid someone to give it a $1k paint-job.

Have been following this one for a while as I have it preordered. Looks like sideshow has uploaded the production photos, I think the red looks even better than the prototype!

Just looked at the photos on Sideshow's site - these photos do look different for sure.

Paint is darker, more wine red than I recall with the prototype. Looks good, but definitely a bit different.

Also comes with a remote for the light-up feature, which I wasn't aware of before. Great feature, actually.

Waiting for some in-hand pics and impressions for sure now...

I don't think I can believe it. Looks too good to be true...

This and Maul may pull me back into busts.

The faceplate looks stupendous.

But the true test is when we see it in-hand.
