Batman: Death of the Family (SPOILERS!!)
So I saw this article over at CBR http://www.comicbookresources.com/?p...ticle&id=43550
It's one half of that month's Red Hood WTF cover, if you click he image you get the other half.
SPOILER!!!
Which is Jason Todd missing his face looking like the current Joker. Is it possible that the Joker is going to do something to each individual member of the Bat family and since Jason picked up the Joker's old mantle of the Red Hood that the Joker is keeping this moving by "defacing" Jason.
Really enjoying this story regardless of the outcome. Just hope Alfred survives!

That is a pretty WTF moment, for sure. It would make sense too.

i've found the story to be a little lackluster - especially on the heels of the court of owls.
the detective comics story with the penguin has actually been the better read imho.

the layman book hasn't been good IMO
very boring and the art doesn't do it for me
Death of the family is easily one of the best joker arcs there is, I wish it was longer.

Yeah, same here. I bought every issue that this series appeared and it just drags on and on. I stopped buying this a couple of weeks ago and will just wait for the last penultimate issue.

So yeah, just read Batman 17 which is the conclusion to Death in The Family and I was pretty disappointed
SPOILERS
I love how all the other tie in issues led to Joker teasing that silver platter but at the very end it was just a trick. Joker made it seem that he had taken off the faces of everyone in the Batman family, but it was not the case. Batman then fights with Joker and pretty much says that he knows Joker's real name and right when he is going to say it, the Joker "falls to his death" So I'm a little pissed because this whole crossover just led to a pretty mediocre ending.

Spoiler
A missed opportunity. Snyder, capullo, the return of the joker, lots of hype, and the ending was just the batfamily being crabby at each other? Lame way to go.

I thought they told before that one of the family would die at the end of the story.
