If this takes off, I could see DC overtaking Marvel. Not in ticket sales of course but in quality of storytelling.

So it's really an art film huh....  crazy mother flippers finally did it.  I always thought that was such a missed opportunity with Donner Superman films.

Other then Nolan’s Batman and Wonder Woman, I highly doubt DC can ever match Marvel. They can’t even keep the actors they cast to build the DC universe. They need someone like Kevin Feige to oversee DC if they want to over take Marvel.

Funny enough, i checked out Logan only yesterday, and i loved it!

Watched a review on this yeaterday, they gave it a 10/10 said it was incredible. It looks like it might be a good movie, i just dont think they should have bothered making it a "dc comics" movie as it has nothing to do with any other characters in the dc univerese

I get the feeling that DC is starting to go in a different direction than they have been. Hopefully it will lead to something great. I don’t mind a movie like this if they are going to do more of these with other characters too.

I believe the Joker had a budget of just $50 million.. I know the director wants DC to make more of these lower budget movies that are focused more on story then expensive CGI.
