Well, I was just now watching Rebecca's excellent booth tour (search for It's Sisko's "Prime 1 Studio Full Booth Tour (Summer Wonderfest 2019") and she actually said: "So it's technically from the comics, but as you can see it's very reminiscent of the Jungle Hunter".

Yeah. I wish P1 was more transparent regarding the licensing

Haven’t bought a statue in a long time but this one looks amazing. Finally a part 1 Predator that looks accurate!

Now I kind of want him to come with a switch-out spear hand...
EDIT: Just noticed in one of the videos that there are two small rectangular pouches sealed with an animal tooth attached to the left side of the belt, so there is some embellishment. Not sure why they did that specifically, since they can't be seen on the comic cover.

outside of the pose, this is pretty much dead on accurate to the OG P1. There are some proportion issues, but other than that, it looks great. I don't have any issues with the pose.

Yeah, well, by "proper" I meant a statue "properly" labeled as licensed from the first movie, without the "Big Game" tag.

I think Rebecca is a bit too preoccupied to post right now (out enjoying herself) - but here's the relevant part from the YouTube video she posted earlier today.

So is it the comic Pred and they are planning to release one more from the movie...or it is just the way the get around the license? Everything is screaming Predator 1 except the pose. It is very confusing.
