Damn, don't think I'll be resisting this one. I love all the easter eggs across the first three films. Even the portrait is decent at that scale.

I see both are up at BBTS, will Sideshow be getting these?

Indiana Jones looks great! Definitely pre ordering the Deluxe, I really hope they make full use of the license to give us the other characters.

I must be in the minority because I am not feeling this one. Base is too convoluted for me.

I can understand that. This piece is kind of like an amalgamation of the Kotobukiya Indy pieces...

I don?t want to poop on anyone?s excitement for this license, but IS is low on the list for anyone I?d like to see tackle this line. Their face design on other lines is extremely lackluster, (I?m looking at you, nedry) and considering the iconic face of Indiana Jones, they?re going to feel off.

You won?t have Indiana Jones in your home, you?ll have ?some dude.?

And this piece in particular is literally half environment and half ?some dude holding a torch and a gun awkwardly.? Your money is simply going towards an overly busy and large base no one cares about. That?s unacceptable. I?ll be interested to see what else they come up with, but I?m not holding my breath.

I'm not sure about the painted "glow" from the torch. I've never liked that on statues. I remember back in 2014 when I first got into statue collecting and was buying Lord of the Rings Premium Formats like crazy. As much as I wanted it, I couldn't bring myself to get Sauron just because of the painted glow from the lava on his inner legs looked funny to me.

But that's just my preference and opinion. This is still a cool statue and it's neat they're offering one with a plain base and one with a deluxe base loaded with Easter Eggs.
