Announcement time! Year One, the charmingly-drawn little daily Marvel-approved internet comic strip by forum member Melike (Michael Parkinson, though not the famous British one, or so he claims) has enjoyed unbridled success for too long. Now it's time to rein it in, and turn it into the calamitous car-crash it should have been all along. That's where I come in, as the new co-writer of the strip starting today! Sure, I got my name on a couple of Speedball strips in the last fortnight, mainly due to my ability to write really bad poetry (don't believe me? Check the Good Grief! section. Really. Bad. Poetry!)

But now it's serious (a bad start for any comic strip). Today's strip is the first featuring one of my scripts, please do check it out at the link below. And leave lots of nice comments for Melike at his site. He does great work cranking out these strips every weekday for free, on top of being a stay-at-home dad with a little un.

And check out the black costume saga, starting next week!!

Well sullieds a harsh word isnt it? I wont even try to out-wit jdhs announcement aboce as he has the word skills between the two of us. Yep, hes on board (god help me) starting from today. Mark the date - it will go down in history..maybe.
Hopefully he'll bring his legion of fans to the 2 regular visitors i already have

Hey thankas everyone and - yes, ikts good to have Jdh on the team (which really just consisted of me beforehand). Dana - its great to hear that youw ere a frequent visitor before! Means a lot.
And yes, i'd like Marvel to publish em as well

I cant remember if i told people here about it but have talked to Joe Quesada about it and he did indicate that it could be done (basically he didnt shoot me down in flames) but ive yet to hear back from him. Who knows. Fingers crossed.
