Though at the same time it’s probably not a good idea to buy from those resellers if you’re not local to them. Unless you’re desperate.

Like it would’ve been ridiculous for me to buy from Spec, given that the shipped cost from Sugo was already Spec’s listed price before international shipping and import duties.
That's reassuring if this is true.

And someone else mentioned it was a minimum $160 to ship a 1:3 statue from a foreign country.

I don't feel quite as bad now missing out on purchasing direct from JND and paying the the $300-400 premium at SpecFic or BBTS. But I still don't believe it's a wash.

Arthur Fleck was JND's first piece if I'm not mistaken so they probably kept the edition size lower to launch this line.

Also, Wonder Woman probably has a bigger appeal to a wider audience to justify a larger edition size.

Definitely a huge leap of faith for all of us that purchased this two-grand statue - first, none of us have seen WW84 and second, hoping JND delivers a final product close to the prototype.

Chalk another one up here for exactly why they charge this much, because the demand is there.

Happy for all who ordered one, I'll be very curious to see this Diana in collections.

It’s all going to be determined how much the shipping is and if it gets caught and calculated correctly by our respective custom duties.

If I were to import directly from JND, and IF they declare accurately on their shipping paperwork I’m pretty certain (at current exchange rates and a low estimate of $200 for shipping to Australia) that I would’ve had to pay about $250 USD more than the price from my local reseller, who had a very similar price as Spec’s.

Unfortunately a lot of us including me have gotten accustomed or indoctrinated to these ridiculous prices.

Though it’s happen over time, but now this 1/3 scale is double the price of what it was just a handful of years ago, but of course this has better quality than those. But I still think it’s overpriced given that the Queen Studios 1/2 scale Aquaman is only about $400 more.

And now Sugo (Australia) has just sold out in the last hour or so.

I wonder how many are left in the wild.
