Sorry for hammering this thread,but I checked earlier in this thread and it mentioned $200 for the kit, and $200 for paint & assembly.

is this seriously the price tag that's gonna be on these?

Come on, this can't be the price. Even 1/4 PF's don't cost that much. Anyway we 'll know in 2 days.

These are model kits. The paint price really depends on the painter. Again, these are being made in the US, it's not the same as mass producing overseas.

For that price you're getting a professionally painted statue which will be kinda unique since you get to chose everything about the paint apps.

well my assumption is that it is being painted to the quality standard we've seen from the preview pictures. I honestly don't feel 'quality' should be an option when you're paying for having it painted.

I'm assuming that it's being painted by PrototypeZ Studio, and that I don't have to personally ask for it to be commissioned by a private painter. If you want something specific then that'd obviously cost more (and take more time), but i'm hoping there's a set price for the classic Player 1 colours.

It costs what it costs, and that is fine. Looks like the only way we'll get an answer is to wait 2 days

Note: I am not in any way trashing on the price/statue/quality, as artists need to be paid, i'm just curious how much it costs. Even a ballpark figure'd be nice

Yeah that sort of price for a professionally painted piece is actually quite low, and while this isn't quite "Garage Kit" territory it's not too far off, and 400 for a pro painted garage kit would be a steal.

It's really going to hinge on how good the assembly/cleaning/painting service is going to be. If it's like the pics shown, imo worth it :P
