dont take my word as gospel mate, but a friend of mine used to use brake fluid to strip plastic and vinyl models, if you are relitivly quick and wash in in a good cleaning product after he said it worked a treat
I use Acetone myself....but be careful, the fumes
are highly dangerous and toxic.
Wear a mask...and gloves and googles.
Take a gallon of Acetone and pour it into a 5-gallon
bucket. Dip you piece for about 30 seconds to a
minute and the paint will literally melt off your old build ups.
Use an old toothbrush and scrub some of the stubborn
stuff off and then wash your kit off in soap and warm
water. Let airdry overnight and you are ready to roll.
Take your used Acetone and carefully (with a funnel)
return it to it's original container and store in a cool dry
place (you can reuse the acetone over and over
until it does not clean your pieces anymore).
