Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

Ironic how we were talking about earthquakes here and we had one last night. Pretty small 3.3 quake but we don't get a lot of them so it's noteworthy.

Did you feel it though? By our standards that's pretty small and unless it happened in the middle of the night and I was awake I probably wouldn't have felt it.

No, we were out eating and felt nothing. A few miles away, further from the epicenter ironically, my sister and her family definitely felt it. Freaked my 3yr old nephew out something fierce.

Being close to the epicenter definitely makes a difference. The other thing I realized recently is that they are way scarier when they wake you up in the middle the night. I was wide awake when the one hit a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't that bad, but had I been asleep... different story.

I've been meaning to ask you guys, but more so Scott for obvious reasons, do you guys watch Portlandia on IFC?
I recently started watching it and love it! It's kind of dumb sometimes, but other times I'm laughing my head off. It's definitely a specific, maybe regional humor, but it's got some really great bits. Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein make a great team and they manage to get some great guests.
Anyway, just curious.

yeah I've watched Portlandia. I love the tag line "A place where young people go to retire." It's so fitting.
It isn't something I tune into regularly though but its pretty damn funny. As far fetched as some of the behavior may seem a lot of it is pretty damn accurate, albeit a tad exaggerated at times. Portland can be a bit of a freak show depending on where you're at. So many bizarre personalities. In a lot of ways the culture reminds me of San Francisco.
