We did. The Daily news covered each kid in the winning class + 1 adult. So him and I went. It was a "boys" trip. Very informative.
I found out the Spider-Man ride cost $100mil to create. Each ride car costs $1mil. They just revamped it and changed all the screens to 4000Mega Pixels. They also added Stan Lee 4x, Iron Man Twice (on Billboards), and the FF building.
Also the Hulk Roller Coaster was supposed to be the Silver Surfer. The reason they changed it was because of the paint color. They didn't want the silver to shine and blind patrons and cause accidents.
One other thing Artist Adam Kubert wasn't allowed to sign his art for the cutouts all over Universal Islands of Adventure so he Secretly signed "Adam" somewhere on each character in the ink lines, so on wolverine's foot in the Laces it says "Adam" but it looks like the laces.
And that's just Marvel... LOL... I have more info from all of the other sections and they even gave us a Certificate of Achievement from Universal Studios Orlando.
