I've never used the queue system to order any of these before, so I was expecting to miss out.

I guess 6000 total, between the SE and the CE, was enough to not shut people out quick.

I was able to order the SE within about 10 minutes.

I think the Artisan stuff is a SSC exclusive as far as NA. If you don't order them through SSC, your best bet is probably to go through some Asian sellers.

Otherwise, One Man's Hobby has it for a hefty markup. I've seen some other dealers names mentioned, but I think they are Facebook presences and I stay away from that universe.

Thanks for that. I jumped on the waiting list. I don't buy too many of these but this one jumped out. Didn't realize it was more limited than others.

The high price One Man's Hobby is charging. That's some mark up!
It does include free shipping.

It's a great portrait sculpt.
But as much as this new wool hair improves it overall, they are still missing quite a bit with it in terms of shape(s) and massing- especially around the crown.

One of my "to do" projects will be trying to get it to look more screen accurate- likely through augmenting it with sculpted plastic or additional weaves and curling some of the stock strands tighter.

Beyond the quality of the sculpt, the big benefit with this release is the moving eyeballs.
With those, you can totally eliminate the deer-in-the-headlights/zombie look that most of these can't help but have.
Side eyes and up and down when the head is tilted imparts a whole lot of life.

It sucks that most of the figures I've collected so far, that I otherwise think look great, are seriously hobbled by not having movable eyes.

If they all get remade eventually, the temptation to upgrade for that capability alone will be overwhelming though far less feasible financially now.

They seem to be heading that way, yes.
