Doesn't it look like they fixed the back end of the skull a bit here? It's not a perfect angle but it sure looks like the top of the skull is roughly even with the back of the jaw bone.

On the whole, I missed out on the Chronicle 1/5 sadly so I have to ask myself how many more opportunities to own a collectible like this will come along. I have learned my lesson.

awesome to see that comparison. This quick shipping turn around is just seemingly killing my chance to get this, major bummer.

Hello, dear collectors. I have a question, where did you pre-order the T-rex Maquette? From Ellite Creatures or Cinemaquette? I understood that there are practically two companies that work together.

Cinemaquette is ECC's North American distributor, I don't think you can buy from ECC direct.

Actually, they are the same company(basically) with the same owner.

Thank you for the information. I made a pre-order at Cinemaquette. I hope I don't regret the decision. I hope the final product will be better than what we saw at SDCC . I already own the entire JP diorama from Iron Studios. I hope this T-rex is superior in all aspects (the painting and sculpture should be as close as possible to the Stan Winston maquette)
