I can't remember ever seeing a team with such a good record having a negative point differential. They've given up the second most points in the league. Easy out.

A retired NFL player named Uchechukwu Nwaneri died just the day before. Heart problem at age 38. Died suddenly, or SADS as they're now calling it.

I heard a cardiologist on the radio saying him standing up was normal and that it takes 3-4 seconds for the brain to run out of oxygen during cardiac arrest. That is why he was able to stand before he passed out. I was more stunned at not knowing that is how quickly our bodies expend/process oxygen. I always knew CPR was vital, but this put a whole new take on it for me.

What troubles me is that CPR was performed for at least 10 minutes. Brain damage typically occurs after 4 minutes. Hopefully he will be ok.

Love hearing that Hamlin is now breathing on his own, is conscious and is cognizant of what's going on around him as well as what happened.
Man, that is some good news!

It’s very helpful to have quick, trained people in your life and being young and healthy. His high spirits will also carry him far on his recovery. Very happy this story turned out like it has.
Bonus is all those kids that are going to be helped through his foundation!!

That's so cool. I donated the other day when it was at $7 million, now it's at $8.5 million...apparently it was at less than $3K before his injury

God damn these Lions are fun to watch. I was so sad that the Rams couldn’t hold on (no shock), but when Dan Campbell said he was playing because “We don’t want them [Green Bay] to get in.” I knew it was going to be wild.
No idea if that was Rodgers last game, if it was, I’m honored to have seen him, Brady, Manning, and Brees from start to finish.
Odds of my Vikings beating the Giants - 50/50.

For Lions fans, that was our Super Bowl this season...very satisfying to knock out the Packers and that smug bastard Rodgers. This sign in the crowd was priceless

Rooting for the Lions to win and then actually getting the win was awesome! Great game.
Was really hoping the Lions would end up with at least a 0.5 record and they did one game better than that. Nice!
