Nostalgia can play a role in how we see characters and their costumes. I am partial to the three I knew her for (2000s comic, animated, current comic) due to color balance and form, but fashion taste can also be directed by when one was born.
In any event Tweeterhead is doing an amazing job and now I am somehow even more excited about upcoming pieces.

It was PRECISELY the costume that brought me to buy it (and the pose). I've loved that costume from back in the day and was thrilled when Alex Ross revisited it with "Justice". I even liked the original slippers, instead of the boots, in earliest incarnations. Either way, "I like it!!"

I agree with you 100%. Loved this costume growing up too. It doesn't get referenced often so when it does, it's special. Thanks TH, JLGLopez and Alex Ross!

Double agreed! I got this statue because of the costume, and I only wish it has the slippers instead of the boots. But it's a great look for her. I'm certain they'll do another more modern look, but for me, this is the way Supergirl should look.

I just opened my Supergirl I got a few weeks back. The overly wide smile doesn't bother me at all, and the paint application is nicely done. She looks much better in hand than in tight pictures. I really hesitated to get her, even at a sale price, but I'm glad I did.

Very glad to hear that. She is a stunner in hand and yes the smile looks better in hand

I'm still on the fence in regards to her face... but it's still a nice statue....
If they would of done it like the artwork it would of been perfect IMO....

Wow! I have no regrets at $150 so $105 is an absolute steal on this. Not sure I've seen a piece of this quality and size for such a price. Now if EE would give the Batgirl Gotham City Garage a similar deal...
