I looked it up and this will indeed be available beginning at midnight as part of the FF event. Since I won't be going out for that, Amazon it is.

The Falcon drone is pretty cool too. Little small but really cool idea.

Looks like this droid is going to be tricky to acquire, at least for now. No one seems to have him in stock. I saw online that Best Buy had some on shelves day before yesterday but the person wasn't allowed to buy them until the FF event last night and apparently that store only had 4 available. Amazon has them available from third party sellers but for a marked up price of course! Oh well, I'll have one soon enough. There is a less expensive regular R/C version available for $80 it seems. I'll wait a bit and get this one though.

I would just be patient. We've all been here before back in 1999. Most of these things will come back instock.

Oh no doubt, and probably at a discount! Back in '99 I went to a midnight madness event at TRU. Waited in line for a couple of hours and dropped all kinds of $$$ on the whole line of figures and toys. I'm still disappointed that Ric Olie turned out to be a nobody!

Good to know.
BB has a "ship to store and get it 3-5 days" free shipping option, may do that.
