Got my Robin. I don’t feel like taking and uploading pics lol. But it’s an excellent little statue. I was glad the box is little lol.

I’m using my boy Damian’s head and sword for now. But as much as he’s my favorite Robin, and as well as SS did with this statue, it’s still awkward. Aside from colors, nothing about this costume is Damian. But it looks good. Most statues I don’t switch parts out but this is one statue I can definitely see switching up from time to time as I change my displays up.

Or I might get a 2nd of these to display Damian with a modern Batman and Tim with a blue Batman. Depends on what XM does with a potential Robin.

Also is SS trying to cut down on separate parts? Because it used to be if statues had small pieces, they are separate and you peg them in. This Robin has the bullet sparks glued in. I was surprised to see this when I opened the box. Even more surprised I got a statue with no issues and those things aren’t broken. Great job on packaging. But also Doc Strange Maquette with the pouches. I’m just surprised these things aren’t separate and with pegs.

Okay so I got my Robin, I did not take pics because he did have a nick and Sideshow is working with me on it.

So, quick thoughts. He is awesome and is probably must have if you want a full Batman collection seeing as he is the perfect Tim Drake Robin. However, if you want something for Damian I might wait until they do a specific PF for him.

All that being said, after looking at him next to my Scarecrow PF I am hard pressed to see why this was priced at $550. In my opinion this piece is over priced by at least $100. I'm actually glad I used Rewards I gained from Sideshow's social events to lower his price significantly.

As much as a fan I am of the piece itself and it's sculpt I'd say unless you have money to just toss at it, wait for a deal or until you have rewards to lower the price yourself.

So do you feel it makes the quintessential Tim Drake or no?

It is definitely dead on Tim Drake.
