Far too much for a 1/6 scale piece. But people were defending it on FB, so maybe it will still sell.

omfg this is insane. I'm also equally shocked by the price. It's more expensive than many 1/4 and barely a Dio. Come on.

I'm guessing along the lines of..."the license costs so much"..."you technically get two figures..."..."look at the detail". This is overpriced, simple as that. I wonder if XM charging what they are for their 1/6 has anything to do with it. Trying to start a trend...keep true TH.

Yeah, most of what I saw was in the "you technically get two figures / it's a dio, so you get so much for your money" range.

Thankfully I have seen a bit more pushback today, but even some of those who realized the price was insane were still considering a purchase anyway.

I think XM's 1/6 pricing has a lot to do with it, but all the companies of all scales have been feeding off each other and pushing the pricing boundaries bit by bit. It's sickening to watch.

But yeah, TH is the last bastion of hope. Decent pricing and great quality... sure they might take longer to deliver, but when the pieces arrive they are almost always worth that wait. I'm personally fine with that.

I was considering getting this but not for that price. I will be more than happy with my Muddy Dark Knight from TH in the same scale for almost 1/3 the price.
