Dredd, is there a market?
I couldn't find any existing threads on the topic but is there any love of Karl Urban's Dredd on the boards? The film has become somewhat of a cult classic and after a campaign to try and get a sequel on facebook etc it's looking more and more likely. The designs in the film were great and scream Sideshow Premium format! The original is a guilty pleasure of many but Urban out acts Stallone using just his chin, I'm sure there will be much more of this universe down the line. So am I alone or is there a market out there?

I buy a good Judge Dredd movie piece.
Generally, I'd expect the statue to do better in the UK than the US.

Is the film not as popular that side of the pond? It flopped in the cinema's but dvd and blu ray sales are always high here partly due to said campaign. It was number 1 on Amazon last week.

This film probably suffered from association with the earlier Stallone version. I heard this one was darker and ultra-violent, so you would think it would have done well.

I think you are correct, and you most definitely heard right, you should drop everything and go buy it now, Urban was born to play Dredd imo. anything with 3d in the title usually puts me right off, I'm glad I made an exception for this one...
A gun would be interesting Bullseye... Hotshot

I LOVED the movie. I'd buy a good Urban Dredd - key on good - in a second. Absolutely.

The film was fantastic, it's just got too strong competition from Marvel and DC films right now.
