I have both now

I got the regular version initially (still an awesome print) but then realized I had to get the GID version. Managed to track down a good deal. Definitely worth a pick up if you're thinking about it

Nice!

In your opinion is the GID effect cool enough to warrant the difference in price?

Do either of yours have a sketch?

Also wondering about the ES. So there were 31 of the GID variant and 19 APs which were GID with a sketch right? Is the 19 part of the 31 or is it 50 total for the GID?

I think it's worth the extra price. The regular print is fantastic in and of itself, but like most of his work the GID not only looks good, but its not a token effort to use GID paints. Like the WD print, it transforms that scene into another iconic image from the movie (if you get what I mean).

Can't recall about the ES and sketch, but I'll open my portfolio up later and check (and take some pics as well).

All in all, I think it's totally worth going the extra money. This guys setting a new bench mark IMO . . . And it is Carpenters 'Thing' after all

I think this is amazing! Hope it'll still have the same effect behind some glass. I do think the variant on the black paper is really sharp. Gonna murder that one out like crazy!

I think I'd wait for Jerrys prints.

Was having a look and I'm not sure if Englert's GID thing was 31 or 50 in total. Either way, it's a very low ES. There's a bit more info here:

http://www.posterocalypse.com/2012/0...-ting-art.html

And here some pics of mine. You can faintly see the GID element in the first pic and whilst it looks awesome in the dark, I have no idea how to take a decent pic of it

I really like the Mac with flamethrower sketch on this one too

And here's my Rene Gagnon Three American Guns print.

And a very big thanks to Scott for helping me acquire this Lora Zombie Red Riding Hood print for Tania. The pics can't do it justice and we both love it. Thanks again mate

Thanks mate . . . would have loved a similar 'zombie' sketch on my WD print but I'm not complaining The guy is just insanely talented.
