I agree. In a sea of Marvel/DC/Transformers this line is a refreshing change of pace for long term statue collectors. It fills that niche gap that Gentle Giant used to fill. Because of the medieval/fantasy subject matter the detail that can be achieved in this scale is amazing.

Because it's 1/6 scale and pricey for the size, the Weta stuff gets dismissed. Again, probably because it's LOTR/Hobbit and not Marvel/DC.

No it isn't. But Isidur does feature a lot of shiny armour, and the last time Weta produced a statue with a lot of shiny armour it was Dain on Ironfoot and Weta certainly didn't have a problem butchering the paint apps on that one.
