I've seen the original maquette, but as I said, I would like to see something different, want Chronicle to offer us something new, like Breakout Rex, otherwise it would be just another Horizon model for me. Nevermind, can't wait to see the paintjob on Brachio because there are some different colors on that maquette, from blue-gray to brown.
I was just wondering did this maquette had armature inside it for posing it in different ways? Checkout the difference in tail

Sorry for posting this, I know this is Raptor Bust thread, but I just can't wait to see the whole JP line from Chronicle

I think this is the model that phil tippet used to to the animatics. usually a maquette is made of resin so it cannot be bended.

Welcome in the future Raptor Bust owners club!
Makes me wondering how many are going to be made? Wild guess: 300-500?

doesn't seem extremely popular tbh, even with it being a SWS casting. Judging by the boards and facebook, I'd guess more like 200-300. The Rex bust was only 350, but I imagine a lot of ppl are waiting for the female.

Paul already said it will most likely be 300.

Congrats AZ! Same here. First CC piece, and a mighty addition to the collection at that!

I think it's a combination of size, and cost (especially for international customers with regards to postage), that would hold back a lot of buyers from a product of this nature. The breakout Rex (which I preordered) is something unique and a dynamic scene in JP1. This raptor is more in line with the maquettes, which the Stego was also capped around the 300/400 mark. Not sure how the compy is doing. I also think that because Chronicle has many exciting plans over the next few years with various JP items, they might figure why tie up their budget on one product when they could buy maybe 3 or 4 other items. That's where I'm out with this item. It looks amazing, but if space was no question, I might jump on it.

As far as the Rexy bust from jp1, yup, waiting for that one. Lol
