There is a lot of sex appeal with the first Catwoman…. I don't think the new one will be as sexy given Koto has toned down the sexiness a bit with the newer Bishoujo's...

Apparently they have a planner for the bishoujo line. One person who got burnt out by the sound of it. Crazy that that would be how it works.

Honestly, apart from the character being a fan-favorite, I never got the appeal of the first Bishoujo Catwoman. That pose is just ridiculous: to me she looks like she's holding in a pee (the legs!); has to bite down on the whip and is already half stripped from her costume, in a hurry to get to the bathroom. I really hope the new one makes more sense as a figure but honestly that silhouette doesn't seem very promising either. Like her ARTFX+ counterpart, these crouching/laying poses always make for minuscule figures...

The male Batfamily statues are obviously getting priority right now.

Then again, I don’t have over 10 years in this market. Just my $0.02.

Looks like I was right.
The original used to grab $300-$350 on eBay.
I see auctions ending around $210-$250 now.

Prices of the first bishoujo are dropping...bc of a statue of which we've seen only a silhouette and of which most people have little awareness?
More than likely, some people simply got lucky selling theirs to buyers who wanted/needed the statue right away or didn't know how to use eBay's search function to look for ended listings.

Auctions always end substantially lower than non-auction prices. I learned that the hard way. I sold the same statue twice not even 1 month ago and the auctioned item sold for $65 cheaper. I had to wait for 2 1/2 entire weeks but finally got the 2nd copy sold for the asking price. There will always be purchasers that don’t want to try their luck or don’t have the patience for auctions.
I just saw a Dark Supergirl auction end at under $100. Poor seller.
Catwomen Bishoujos are still listed at $300 upwards.
