Sideshow and SDCC 2022?

Hi!

SDCC is fast approaching.

Have sideshow communicated any plans for this year?
Will they be attending or making their own?
I really hope this is a return to pre covid "format" (1 new reveal a day pretty much up untill the convention weekend)
The last 2 years have been kinda lackluster (imo)

I was trying to find some info on the blog but it's all about "omg!! The new episode of Obi-Wan is so guuuuuuud!" And the search function well.... really blows

Agree.

My guess is they will set up in their warehouse again. It is probably less expensive and they probably thought those shows were "great".

On https://www.comic-con.org/cci/2022/exhibitors there is no exhibitor list at all yet - but I would expect it at the end of June.

I also follow https://sdccblog.com/ for news like that.

Can we still expect some new reveals even if they stay home, or how was it during the last couple of years? Don't know much about ComicCons or how SS usually do it, if you can say that

SS did the star wars event in person. I don't see why they wouldn't do SDCC.

Expect disappointment, you can only go up from there lol.

I agree the covid SDCC shows were lackluster but at least they tried, they still had some reveals and gave a ton of reward points.

I'm pretty sure they will be at SDCC and they will likely be the biggest booth like always especially since this year having done so many PF reveals at the first 6 months of the year. Because of that i don't expect more than maybe 4-6 reveals PF/Maquette, with alot of the prototypes being shown:

Captain Marvel
Zatanna
New Psylocke
Spider Gwen
Ashoka (tv)
Boba Fett (tv)

Then you have all the PCS/Tweeterhead stuff/hot toys/Bust

I'm curious how this will be set up this year. TH always had their little booth down by Olivia.
