I love NYC. Sports radio caller said ARod's play today disgusted him and was disgraceful to the Yankees. He K'd on a 102 mph fastball, a weak curve, and a great curve. Awful, simply awful. Send him to the Tribe for 2007!!! Please!!!!

And hey, they've said it 200 times already so we all know Cap'n DJC (Derek Jeter Christ) has the most hits ever in the play-offs. But, did you know, he also has the most Ks and has made the most outs in post season history. Gee, do the math and read btwn the lines, he's in the post season every year. It just stands to reason that he has a lot of hits. Its why Manny and Thome have so many post season HRs.

My rant will end with this: NO MORE TORRE CLOSE-UPS!!!!! In HD its blinding and the stuff of nightmares.

My poingt is that it is a hollow stat. Most hits in Play-off History sounds pretty impressive. However, he has the most at-bats in ALCS history and the second most ABs in ALDS history. So it stands to reason that the player with the most ABs would have the most hits. Which is why he has made the most outs . . .follow the logic? Other players up near the top in post season hits: Bernie Williams, Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones. And shocker of shockers, they are right up there in ABs. Naw, there's no correlation. Its that DJC is incredible and the fact that he has the most hits is due to his incredible post season batting average.
