You'd be surprised how good old movies can look. I've seen a few in HD that really shocked me. Movies are shot at such a high rez, that even really old movies can look fantastic if treated properly. Assuming of course, they were well budgeted...which I'm sure a film like Predator was.

yeah old movies are looking pretty insane on BD
I got enter the dragon looks awesome,
close ups look almost as good as any other BD but obviously the wider scenes arent as good ,but still damn good for such an old movie
.

This is true, but as you say "if treated properly". The re-release of Predator on dvd as a SE was pretty good except for the scratches and dirt. I`m hoping that these will be taken care of before its placed onto Blu-ray. If they give this movie a little attention, it will look fantastic.

IMO Fox has really stepped up to the plate on these latest releases. Predator and Aliens are must haves for me and I hope they continue their recent track record.

Yeah, lets hope they continue producing titles to the same quality as their recent released titles.

I cannot wait for the Alien movies to hit Blu-ray.
