Looks like Stanley's a little disappointed with the statue as well.

I would be too. I still dont understand what her hands are doing or why her hair is like this. Even Lau did a poor job (one that is rare).
I would have had her powering up and the flame emitting from her fist. And have nice clean long hair.

Wow the statue is almost entirely different to the concept. Everything from the costume, body shape, hair, flame effect and the face are all different.
The only thing the statue meets is the uninspired pose, I wonder what happened.

Artgerm is a wonderful artist. His work deserves better treatment than this.

All these covergirls seem to have leaner bodies with small rears and thighs. Kind of odd that they tweaked her outfit. They did the bust with her small pasties, why didn't they do it here?

I am pretty sure those flames are not porcelain, but some form of clear resin. There are quite a few pieces out there that have very detailed resin bases etc.

If the statue had been faithful to that art concept I would have ordered it without a second thought. Once again Artgerm knocks it out of the park! Gorgeous.

Sigh.. looks like the Poison Ivy ones is only worth it.
The rest are kinda hit & miss.
Oh well.. back to bombshells I guess.

I think Batwoman is the best one. It's a really nice statue.

Wow. Two very different impressions made by the statue and artwork. Not that it's ever a perfect translation, but the original Cover Girls statues by Adam Hughes conveyed a lot of his charm from paper to polystone. This one misses the mark badly. And look at those skinny arms?!? Someone get Starfire a burger!
